A singer and songwriter coming from the traditions of jazz, creating on the piano her own original territory.
After years spent interpreting the great American Songbook, she began to create her own, very personal territory of songs for piano and voice. Living in Italy, of dual French and German nationality, but with family roots going back to Madagascar and Tahiti and a childhood of constant traveling around the world, her songs echo her origins, from jazz-blues to French impressionist composers to traditional native music.
Nadine Jeanne explores in sound and words the mystical connections of life: intimate and powerful like poetry, from the contemplation of a rainy evening to the furious rhythm of the sea. Her songs, crossbordered and fluid - with a freedom and originality reminiscent of artists such as Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and Tori Amos- are a tribute to a humanity always traveling and transforming and to the forces of nature. Her many collaborations with musicians of different national and musical background include the participation in the album 'Same Planet vol. II' by the Beyond Music association, with her song 'Earth tell my eager hands', produced by drummer Manu Katchè (Sting, Peter Gabriel).
In 2022 she released her first solo album „The Boat’s Dream“, recorded live in France.
